This site is for everyone who wants to better understand and manage their finances, as well as professionals who want to hear from other experts too. This is done with real conversations, guides, resources, book reviews, and case studies. It is not personal advice.

Editorial standards.
I write for clarity, accuracy, and education. Definitions come from primary sources; material facts are cross-checked; and I avoid language that could mislead. Guest interviews are for entertainment and educational purposes — not endorsements.
For any sensitive content, I offer factual review to the guest before publication and always obtain disclosures. All key content pages will show dates where relevant. If I make a mistake, I will go above and beyond to correct it quickly with a dated note. I don’t accept any payments to include any products or providers in any editorial content. If I ever use affiliate links or sponsorships, they’ll be clearly labelled.

Sources, and methodology.
I prioritise primary sources — regulators, insurers’ documents, industry bodies, and (where relevant) any legal precedents — showing effective dates and jurisdiction.
When terms or definitions are used, I may compare wording across providers to present any common patterns and caveats. Tools and resources state assumptions and include a “Last updated” date.
Case studies are anonymised (client always; adviser optional) and focus on practical lessons. External sources are linked. I aim to update promptly after regulatory changes; if I miss something, please flag it and I’ll review quickly.

Interviews, how I work with guests.
I and the guest(s) agree a short brief (topics, boundaries, disclosures, etc). Once we've got the basics, I share questions in advance that I am likely to want to hear your opinions on. Once informed, when ready we record our conversation or run a written Q&A.
Guest(s) have the option to pre-check all content before publication for factual accuracy and context. Quotes sit within clear disclaimers to avoid misinterpretation as advice. I avoid sales pitches and label any conflicts or sponsorships. Post-publication clarifications are added with a visible revision note.

Accessibility.
I believe the content by Let's Get Financial should be usable by everyone, from those opening their first bank account to industry Chartered professionals.
I aim for easy to view content, good visible text and colours day or night. I do my best to ensure that media includes descriptive alt text. Videos include captions or transcripts, images have descriptions. If anything here is hard to use with a screen reader or keyboard, please tell me — I do my best but I'm always open to improving.

Privacy and data use.
If and when you contact me, your details are only used to reply. You’ll never be added to a mailing list without an explicit opt-in. Case studies are kept anonymous for all clients by default, and advisers can remain anonymous by choice.
